Ingredients:

  • - 2 cups ripe mangoes, peeled and chopped
  • - 1 cup plain yogurt

  • - Pinch of saffron threads (optional)
  • - Ice cubes
  • - Chopped pistachios for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. 1. In a blender, combine the chopped mangoes, yogurt, milk, sugar, cardamom powder, and saffron threads (if using). Blend until completely smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed. This should take approximately 1-2 minutes on high speed.
  2. 2. Taste the mixture and adjust the sugar according to your preference. You may want to add more if your mangoes aren’t very sweet.
  3. 3. Add a handful of ice cubes to the blender.
  4. 4. Blend again for another 30 seconds to 1 minute, until the ice is finely crushed and the shake is well chilled. If the mixture is too thick, add a little more milk to reach your desired consistency.
