Ingredients:

  • - 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • - 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • - Optional: 1/4 cup chopped fresh mint leaves

Instructions:

  1. 1. Combine frozen berries, Greek yogurt, milk, honey/maple syrup, chia seeds, vanilla extract, and cinnamon in a high-powered blender. If using fresh mint, add it now as well.
  2. 2. Blend on high speed for 1-2 minutes, until completely smooth and creamy. Scrape down the sides of the blender as needed. If the mixture is too thick, add a tablespoon or two more of milk until desired consistency is reached.
  3. 3. Taste and adjust sweetness as needed, adding more honey or maple syrup if desired.
  4. 4. Pour the mixture into a tall glass or mason jar.
  5. 5. For an extra touch of visual appeal, layer the shake with additional fresh berries. Gently spoon a layer of berries into the glass on top of the smoothie.
